(Part Two)

You see, many asked why I can be in Hong Kong Disneyland for so many times in a year? Well, I signed up for Magic Access Annual Pass last year. Platinum, Gold, Silver then Red Magic Access. Right, I am still in dilemma whether to renew mine or not.

Magic Access

Entered the park a little bit early than yesterday. Surprisingly the park was quite empty thou. Well, time to explore some Disney-themed decorations!

It's not easy to take such photos. Seriously some tourists are extremely annoying, I waited for so long until the stage is cleared, they simply walked up and take photos, before me! Gosh I told them to wait in line and be more considerate, luckily they understand and walked off immediately.

Untitled

One thing I love about Disney Halloween is they gave out candies and Halloween-themed stickers! I collect pins and stickers, hehe. Halloween in 2010 is even better, they gave out Marshmallow wrapped in Disney characters themed plastic bag. Love it! I actually kept some until 2012, my mom saw it on my working table and threw it away. The marshmallow is no longer safe to eat, she said.

Untitled

Headless Horseman attraction is packed! Luckily I visited this attraction the day before, yeah decided to skip it although I wanted to visit for the second time. (On a side note, Hong Kong Disneyland is having it again this year!)

Untitled

Another Halloween attraction is Graves Academy. Always so packed but this time I decided to line up, because it's just freaking 20 minutes waiting time, otherwise I wouldn't have the chance to visit it as I'm flying back home two days later.

You can always try your luck to borrow special accessories from the cast members. I saw a kid asked for this staff but got rejected. After awhile, I asked and the cast member handed me this spooky staff straight away. Lucky me! Okay, the kid at the back envy me, lol.

Untitled

I never had dinner in Corner Cafe alone before! During high tea time, I asked for a table, I was informed the high tea session required at least two person, otherwise I will be paying for two. No, I won't pay for it, haha. In year 2010, I had lunch and dinner with the boyfriend in Corner Cafe. That time the restaurant did not have special collaboration with Coca-Cola, the set meal and desserts are good but this time is even better!

Duffy!

Still remember the first time I saw Duffy at Main Street. The boyfriend asked who is this, I don't know, haha. I thought this bear is just another supporting character in Disney cartoons, a small one. Turn up Duffy is a big star is Tokyo DisneySea! I fall in love with him at the first sight in Tokyo DisneySea!

This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween...

Untitled
Jack Skellington!

This is the second time I watch Jack Skellington parade at night. I prefer the first one I watched in Halloween 2010. Throughout the years the parade is about the same with little modification. I hope I can be there for Halloween 2014 though! They are putting a new show, starting from Oct 2! Gosh, Genie Genie in the bottle please grant my wish!

Donald Duck! I literally jumped out when the Pirate Ship is approaching! Everyone is required to sit or squat down but I stand up all the time, that's the benefit if you're in the Star Guest designated area. *grin*

Disney Pin Trading practically is a buy-and-trade hobby that take place in Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line. Thousands of pin have been created over the years (my collection is mere 10% of it). Technically, the pins is featuring Disney characters, park attractions, special events and more.

Untitled

I never bring a luggage to Hong Kong Disneyland, this time is totally different. You'll know why when you scroll down.

Untitled

And so, Hong Kong Disneyland held Pin Trading Fun Day annually, usually in April. I love April, it's my birthday month, so when I visit the park during the time, I get a (or more) birthday badge, yay!

Untitled

Have you seen this frame? The cast member will ask for a photo when you have a birthday badge on. Alternatively, you can ask from the counters in merchandise shops if they keep any frame. Still remember my first Disney Experience back in 2010, I saw the cast members walking around with the frame, I was wondering what is the purpose for it but too shy to ask. A friendly cast member approached me, he offered to take a photo with me and get me to sign on a notebook, saying it was a souvenir for himself as a cast member. Guess the "My First Time" badge on my shirt got him, lol.

Anyway, it's "Flight of Fantasy" Parade again!

Aww still in love with the parade no matter how many time I've watched it. When I scroll my Disneyland photo album, realized that I always sit at the right hand side of the parade! From this side, you get to see Donald Duck, Stitch, Mickey Mouse and more. Aww guess I should get to the other side next time for Pluto.

The cast members were curious of DVC. I'm not surprised that they aren't aware of it, Disney Vacation Club is still not widely introduced in the park. In Japan, yes. They are recruiting Japanese-speaking employees, preferable Japanese to be based in Japan - Disney Vacation Club. Hope they set up one in Hong Kong Disneyland resort soon!

It's not a hairband. It's a bandage I got from the Pirate Party on Disney Fantasy last December. It's a complimentary costume accessory to every guest onboard. I got two though.

See another frame in Adventureland!

Untitled

The photo above is for you to know where I get my lunch meal (as shown below) from. No fun if I tell every single details, no?

Untitled

Did you know there's no takeaway in Disneyland? I was surprised though. I couldn't finish this meal so I asked for a takeaway tupperware, the cast member there isn't a plastic bag to take away food. Note to myself, bring a Tupperware next time. Here's another tips, they are clean water machines stationed in outside the restrooms in park. Sometimes it's cold but mostly just normal temperature drinking water. If you are not a fan of expensive soft-drink, bring along an empty water bottle.

Untitled

Untitled

First time taking photo in Grizzly Gulch! Minnie admires my jegging, lol. Mickey asked for my Duffy and DVC lanyard, haha no way. But, I don't mind to trade it with his costume though.

Untitled

Untitled

Mystic Point, not an interesting park to explore, if I may comment. It's the world-exclusive themed park in Hong Kong Disneyland. There is only one ride where you'll sit in a cabin and it will bring you to explore the Master's collection of fine arts and antiques.

Untitled

Alright, it's Pin Trading Fun Day!

Untitled

What's in my luggage and Jack Skellington bag? All pins. Yes,, you heard it, it consists of 200+ Disney pins, freaking heavy. I've took part of my pins for trading purpose. Many pin traders will gather in the park during the event dates. Anyway, I have yet met any Malaysian, I hope there are more to join!

Untitled

I did not successfully trade any pin that I'm looking for. There are many wanted to trade with mine, frankly speaking, I wouldn't trade with adult who is trying to take advantage, for example, using a normal pin to trade with my limited pins from Walt Disney World. Like, are you kidding? They are smart but distasteful. But, I did trade some with kids. They won some from the arcade and I willingly trade my special event pins with them.

Untitled

Untitled

Untitled

These arcade games aren't for free! I envy those kids who can play it repeatedly, salute their relentless spirit of winning the special pins, those games aren't cheap seriously. Once I hit my RM500 margin, I stopped myself from trying anymore. If you're lucky you can win the 1000-limited Duffy pin (and I won one only) or some pins originally from Disneyland Paris or Disney Park. I did won some exclusive but small pins, end up I traded it with other kids for Donald Duck pins.

On the event dates, they released a series of special pins, gosh the long queue at the side of the castle is killing. It was consider early when I reached the park, that jaw-dropped moment that you couldn't imagine, the amount of people lined up for the special pins are insane!

Anyway, this time around I did not stay until the fireworks because bringing a luggage is troublesome. I got my luggage sent back to hotel first before I went out for a quick supper.

Untitled

Untitled

Yeah babe, this is my supper. I can't get this in Lantau Island thus I went all the way to TST for THIS! Been watching the advertisement and I know I must try it out. My spice-tolerance is extremely low, but this burger, easy job though. Guess this is a #malaysianthing. Pfft, this burger is not as hot as what I've imagined.

Untitled

So, these are part of the limited pins in my collections. All these are the one Disney people are insanely looking for, some asked if I want to sell it but no thanks. I'm lucky to have all these with the special assistance of a friendly cast member. When I was in the queue, we had a short conversation. He then kept the Duffy pack for me, just two. Anyway, I let go one set to a person after me because he couldn't get even one of the limited series, all sold out. At least I still have one set for myself.

Untitled

This is a real quick-short trip to Hong Kong. My new found love is Rimowa luggage! It's spacious and light! There are about 7 new shirts, some Disney Vinylmations, few boxed pins and 3 medium-sized Disney soft toys inside, along with my clothes and laptop. Rimowa in Pavilion has been helpful to change the lock for me although is not a faulty caused by the manufacturer. My lock was damaged when I fly home from Paris, the customs authority opened all my luggage for security check, I don't know why the damage although this Rimowa has TSA lock. So anyway,

Untitled

Who doesn't like Air Asia? Although it was a last-minute decision to fly to Hong Kong for Pin Trading Fun Day, Air Asia still manage to offer the best and economical airfare! Because of Air Asia, I get to fly to Hong Kong frequently. Although the level of comfort and service can't beat Cathay Pacific and Malaysia Airlines, but what do you expect more? You get what you pay for, right? Cheers to Tony Fernandes!
