Fu Gua Thong Restaurant

A friend from Puchong suggested bitter melon soup for dinner. Bitter gourd or commonly named as bitter melon is prescribed as an ancient natural curative to promote overall wellness and most importantly, it can lower blood sugar naturally, such as Diabetes.

Our order depended on him since he is a local. He self-proclaimed himself as the most convincing person to make the correct order, or we can slaughter him for good will.

Pork.

Sweet-and-sour fillet.

Omelet.

The famous Fu Gua Thong.

It's a whole new experience. The fact is the soup is not as bitter as I thought and I think it's slightly sweet, but not the sweet-sweet but a good sweet. I am confused as you are now and I think you should give it a try 'cause I really suck at describing things. It was an 2-hours dinner with mates. Personally, I like the pork and the vegetable. The omelet is quite oily to me. I am not a fussy customer and the service is quite good but there will be a person approaches you to sell you some coupon books. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the environment although we were sitting by the roadside. There are plenty of restaurant specifically selling bitter melon soup, you just need to pick the one with good recommendation by the local people. So enjoy it, peeps! Happy Friday!

Many commented that Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest Disney Park compared to the other parks. But mind you I haven't got the chance to visit other park, so yeah Hong Kong Disneyland is quite a big park to me. Disneyland plays magic on me! I was incredibly a happy person when I was in the park! So please stop being sour and bitter, especially those who never visited Disneyland. Many tells that Disneyland is only for small human. Apparently I'm a bigger human but I love Disneyland so much!

That aside. The first thing I went is to the drawing class. It was the nearest attraction from the main entrance. Classes is scheduled every 30 minutes. Guess it was during the summer and there was no queue. Drawing was my favorite thing to do when I was young. It had been ages since I hold a crayon and draw.

The front row, like I always did in class.
The subject of the day.
Concentrating.
"Shit, what is this?"

I think this is the ugliest Jack I ever seen. #kidding

Obviously this is my drawing.

From circle to something.
Toy Story!
From scratch.

The decoration.

Wish I could be part of your world.
Beauty and the Beast.

Ratatouille

The Incredibles

The infamous stepmother.

I used to afraid of one of the singing scenes in Dumbo.

Tarzan without Jane, lol.

Don't forget to visit the Tree House in Disneyland! You can see how he lives with the gorillas.

It's not for sale! I would have brought the Tarzan sculpture if they were for sale. After the drawing class, you will lead to an exit and there you entered to another room where all the sculptures are displayed. Apart from that, there are also a video that repeatedly played throughout the day. From the video, you will be able to know more about how a cartoon was made.  Just a brief introduction, as told by Disney animation directors, it usually takes about 3 to 5 years to produce a Disney animation. The smooth movement by the characters you've seen in a cartoon was actually made by thousands sculptures that placed on a circular plate. While it's moving in a circular motion, it will be videotaped before the final editing.

The happy me with drawing.

Make full use of the attraction in the park and you make your Disneyland trip into a educational one! Anyways I've learned how to draw Jack. I know it's boring to some of you, but wait for more! I'll blogged about it soon, stay tuned folks!

Legendary Peri-Peri Sauce

Drummer Bee checking out the menu.

Chicken Livers and Portuguese Roll

1/4 Chicken With 2 Sidelines

Personally, my favorite sidelines are Peri Corn and Peri Chips.

Their famous Espetada

Espetada means "pierced", referring to how meat is pierced onto a skewer.

Ordered some starters to take away for my furkids.

When we were still young, dining in Nando's seems quite hesitated to us because we do not have Nando's in Seremban. The nearest branch we were able to go is in KLCC. Nando's used to be my favorite pat-toh place :) But now we both are busy working and taking care our own businesses and I gradually forgot about a place named Nando's until this fine day, I saw Nando's and yeah, we decided to have dinner there.

Same as yesterday, I ordered Lemon & Herb. He wanted to call for Extra Hot Peri-Peri but because I want to try out the 1/4 Chicken, he called for Mild Peri-Peri, how thoughtful he is. :)

If it's your first time at Nando's, start with Lemon & Herb.
If you're feeling adventurous, go for Mild or even Hot.
Or evoke tears of joy with Nando's Extra Hot.

Happy Wednesday peeps!

PS : Countdown...3 days to go.

Anticipated much!

The best thing of my Hong Kong trip was to spent days and nights in Hong Kong Disneyland! I meant, one of the best things. Not forgetting to mention how awesomely good to have a soul partner/best friend/culprit that love me so much to the point that he willingly accompany me to Disneyland!

Bought a new luggage.
My soul partner.

Not long ago I saw this from Xia Xue's blog. I was like Wah so cute! Can kiss Donald Duck! When I can go Disneyland! and so on. It was just a kiddy nag as I never thought I will be able to fly there within a year after reading the post. Thankfully that I got the chance to visit Disneyland before I get too old!

And to stay in Hong Kong Disneyland is like a dream! I don't even dare to dream about it, I'm very stingy and tend to count every cent that I've spent. I've checked the room rates. As what I expected, the rates is super high compared to any decent hotel in Hong Kong. Though I wish I could spend a night there.

Mickey oh Mickey!

The man.

He made my dream come true! He has been a supportive boyfriend, to the extent that he is willingly to pay for our hotel stays in Disneyland! Although he makes me mad sometimes, but I still adore him for what he has done for me.
The station.

It was a sunny day in Hong Kong.

They have free bus service to Disneyland Hotel and Hollywood Hotel. No entrance passes or room keys is necessary to take the buses, which mean anyone could hop-on and hop-off between the hotels and the park. Before the bus arrive at the Disneyland Hotel, you'll see Hollywood Hotel. I think I was so too obsessed with Disneyland so I did not bother to go Hollywood Hotel, which I think I should have done that. What a waste! Now I must for the next trip seriously I don't know when.

Before entering the lobby.

The hotel was quite far from the park and there's no way for anyone to walk to the park under the hot sun! So my advice, take the bus instead.

While I was in the bus, I kept asking boyfriend why are we still not there yet?! Took about 10 minutes but it felt like hundred years. So, the long await entrance! By the way, strongly not recommend any of you to go Hong Kong during summer, it was so freaking burning hot!

Sunny day I'm so gonna melt!
Musical Fountain

Please, anyone with brain juice would never really spend half an hour under the hot sun, just to watch the whatso fountain. Spot Mickey Mouse in the middle of the fountain? It moved upward and downward following the rhythms.  Anyways, I watched it during the night time, the musical fountain was super awesome with the sound and light effects, trust me!

This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween.

The significant view of Hong Kong Disneyland.

The main street.

This time Disneyland is not all about dreamy and cute decorative things!

Happy Hallooooooooweeeeeeeeeen peeps!

Look at the long queue! Mickey and Minnie Mouse have the most fans compared to other characters. As you can see, the queue was super long and I did not take the risk to drop dead and died due to the freaking hot sun!

Ended up I took few photos with other characters and chose to let go Mickey and Minnie Mouse. There were several souvenir shops around, where I bought all my pins from! Apart from that, there were also few cafes and restaurants, the price is unfriendly as well, lols! So plan well your Disneyland trip so you can spend less than expected. Enjoy!
