As I promised, this time I'm gonna blog about #MyHennessy!

Untitled

I was invited by Donovan and Yukiko from Manoah Consulting to attend Hennessy Night @ The Butter Factory last Thursday. It was also the first Hennessy Night out of 11 fabulous parties that going to take place in different clubs and time!

Untitled

I was early that night. Luckily met some fellow bloggers, we killed some time by taking photos outside.

Untitled

This is the second time I attend Hennessy Night as a VIP, but differently from the first one, my night is spent pretty awesome with the rest of the bloggers. The first one was a last minute decision as I was quite a lone-wolf in blogosphere back then; I have more blogger-friends now!

In VIP area, I've met a lot of familiar faces too (Daphne Charice, Elecoldxhot and etc). Not forgetting to mention that I met my ex-colleagues from GREY KL. I love it how an event bring everyone together.

Who doesn't love free flow of alcoholic drinks? I do!

Untitled

Although I was driving that night but I did not stop myself from consuming alcohol, lol. No worries, I never get wasted, never get drunk. To be frank, I started to believe that I will never ever get drunk, at all. Anyway, these coupons are wasted! All VIPs are offered free flow of Hennessy, Hennessy rocks!

Thanks to Jaz Khai, he took tons of photos for us! He's a friendly and professional photographer. My semi-pro can't function well in clubs, guess it's time for me to get a flash.

Had so much fun! I can't wait to attend the next Hennessy Night, and this time, if you are going too, holla back! I need more friends to rock the dance floor *winks* Also, don't forget to download Hennessy app (if you haven't), you will get rewarded by using the app, plenty of merchandises for you to redeem. So hurry and download it!

Bottoms up!

Thousand thanks to Samsung Malaysia for sponsoring Chelsea FC Asia Tour 2013 in Malaysia!

P1019658

Also thanks to Manoah Consulting for a pair of tickets; Few people wanted to tag along but I decided to go with mom. She was thinking to watch the game too but couldn't find a partner. For those who can't go with me this time, no worries I will have other invitations that you might interested with, lol.

Anyway, the blue-T we were wearing aren't given to us for free. I was rushing that day so didn't get to buy a jersey. There were plenty of stalls outside the stadium selling it but not authentic merchandises.

Untitled

Luckily, the organiser of this event set up a booth just right in front of the Samsung Ticketing Booth that selling Chelsea T and other merchandises. We bought it without second thoughts!

Look at the crowd!

Untitled

Back in college, every student must earn 2 hour credits for co-curriculum before graduation. Not sure if it was consider a bad luck or not, I was the only female in my class. My close friends were all guys, so when they asked if want to join the same club with them, I agreed immediately without asking which club. Until I followed them to our activity room, realised that we were heading to the football field! And yes, I did earn my 2-hour credits even without completing the task given to us. We were asked to complete 8 rounds of track running within 10 minutes. I failed. I was the last two. The last one didn't make it, but my seniors decided to give me a pass.

It wasn't easy back then. I was trained like everyone in the team (except the track running). Football is so tiring but so much fun! So please, it's not cool at all by saying "I don't know why is football fun to guys, it's like watching 20 people running after a ball!"

Untitled

The game heated up when Malaysia team almost get to goal. We were still losing by 2 points before the second-half started.

Untitled

Majority were wearing blue! This is not the first time I watch football game, the previous two I was there too! No matter what colour we're wearing, red or blue, we cheer for Malaysia team! There were many goal attempts from Malaysia team but all I can say Chelsea FC is good!

Untitled

Frankly speaking, many left the stadium before the game ended. They probably want to avoid the massive jam but I still think it was a wrong decision to go BECAUSE...

Untitled

We finally GOAL!!!!!!!! Can you imagine the moment when everyone in the stadium stood up and cheered for the goal? Fabulous!

Untitled

One for Malaysia XI! Even Samsung Malaysia predicted that, lol.

It's a new experience to me!

Last year, I got a call personally from a Mini expert from Auto Bavaria. It was rather a funny conversation between us. He invited me to a "fun activity" and I thought it was a launch party and finger food are served. I RSVP-ed and, as a courtesy, I informed him that I'll bring a plus one.

He needs a permission, he said. A permission? What? (Just because you served finger food and head count is necessary?) Anyway, after awhile, he confirmed with me that I can bring a plus one.

On the day itself, I woke up late. As a courtesy (again), I called and informed that I'll be late for the launch party. He didn't mention anything but assured with me that they will wait for me. I was wondering, perhaps they need head counts before the party starts.

I was wrong. I was wrong. I was wrong. Damn wrong.

It was a Mini convoy (KL-Genting Sempah-Genting Highland-KL). I had no Mini back then, so I got to drive their demo cars. I chose Mini Cooper S while the boyfriend chose Countryman S. The best part was, we get to drive it without a salesperson in the car. They were driving other Minis, one was leading us the way and another one was behind us. All we got in the car is walkie-talkie. Breakfast are provided, toll fee are paid, we had a fun drive in Mini!

Guess you already know, I own a Mini Cooper S now. Talk about service, they are really good in this.

But, this time is different.

This time, I got invited by Ingress Auto, Bangsar and I can bring 5 friends to join!

Welcome to Mini Take 5 Challenge, Padang Merbok.

I have limited seats in my car, only can bring 4 passengers including the driver. The boyfriend and younger sister are the only two I brought!

All visitors are welcome. Three of us are given a blue tag which only given to those who are invited for slalom drive. It reminds me of hospital ward tag thou.

It shocked me when I looked at the entrance. You may choose to enter the venue by using the staircase or, sit on a bean bag and slide down!

A short brief by the driving instructor before slalom drive. Safety precaution to be noted and we are asked not to overtake the Mini in front of us to prevent anyone of us involve into a car accident.

I chose to be in the same car with my younger sister while the boyfriend drove another Countryman S.

My sister recorded when I was having fun with the slalom drive.

All the Minis are CBU, but the upcoming Mini Countryman is CKD. CBU is still available but upon special order. The price for CKD is not confirmed yet but it's definitely cheaper than what they are currently offering.

A brief information on Mini Countryman.

Under the hood, it has the same engine as Mini Cooper S. MCS is a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine small car with 184hp. The sprint time (0-100kmh) of MCS is 7.2s. For some odd reasons, although I was verbally taught on how to achieve the sprint time but I never get it. Apart from that, unlike the older version of Mini Cooper S, I never experience turbo lag in the current model of Mini Cooper S and dare to say the turbo response is better than BMW 3 series and Mazda RX8.

Countryman S is a four-wheel drive Mini. It's bulky, but no matter how hard you turn in, or how much speed you carry into a corner, or, an emergency brake; this car is steady like hell! I did an aggressive cornering but it just refused to tilt! My younger sister was having fun sitting next to me!

Mini Countryman John Cooper Works

Just so that you know, John Cooper Works is the highest specs of all Mini models. They have Countryman JCW, Cooper JCW and etc. Heard that Paceman JCW is coming thou.

Mini Cooper JCW and Coupe JCW has about 211hp! The price is about RM300,000 for such a small car. I've tried all the Mini models and Mini Cooper S has the best handling so far, it's just so much fun to drive! Ignore the legroom, I enjoy driving my Mini time and time again, especially when I drill the throttle and step on the pedal, listening to the turbo sound and experience the speed. I always do these when there's a large enough gap ahead in highway! Mini is steady, trust me.

The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia 2013 kicked-off last May at the Shanghai International Circuit. I've been checking out this since last year, I have a boyfriend who loves super cars so much and in order for me to keep up with his interest, yes, I can practically name some of the super cars easily.

Just a brief introduction, this year, Lamborghini added a new race car, Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo. Basically, it is still based on the last year's Gallardo LP 570-4 street version but with added elements, such as new wheel arches, new spoiler and etc. Technically, these improved the aerodynamic efficiency compared to the previous year's model.  Don't expect any changes under the hood, it still remains the same V-10 engine with horsepower of 570.

Last Saturday, we're invited to attend Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia 2013 at the Sepang International Circuit. The event starts at 12.30pm, boyfriend was having classes until 11.30am, after a quick breakfast and speeding, we finally reached SIC at 1.00pm.

Untitled
Walk eagerly.

Lucky us we were given a parking pass as well. Just a short distance from the parking to the paddock so we were not too late.

Untitled

I've been to the paddock few times so we found our way to media access centre easily. I deserve a pat on my head for leading the correct way, the weather is freaking hot and I can't open my eyes!

Untitled
Behind the paddock.

Guess who I accidentally bumped into!

I hope this girl is bringing home a Lamborghini very soon!

Buffet is served. Shouldn't go without buying breakfast.  I had my breakfast anyways but I still can't resist the cold drinks! The sun was so freaking hot until a rock can melt immediately under the sun!

No way if we're going to spend our Saturday afternoon in the air-conditioned paddock. Time to hit the pit-lane!

This year's Super Trofeo Asia 2013 brings in an ensemble of drivers from Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and etc.

Other than Lamborghini Gallardo, you will also find Lotus Elise, BMW, classic cars and etc! They are competing in their own category thou.

The race has started after awhile. All are asked to go back to the paddock. Boyfriend and I decided to stay at the pit-lane for the closed-up of roaring sounds and mean machines!

Endurance is the essential for this race. Each team entering individually or in teams of two, amateur and pro-amateur. To win this race, it's based on how many laps they completed within an hour for each driver.

Second driver ready for race.

Another team from Jakarta

Did not stay until the winner announcement. I stayed up till the race finished thou. As I mentioned the winning is based on the lap count thus I do not know who won this round.

Undeniably it's an awesome experience! Talked to some Lamborghini representatives, in order to join this race, one must be a sponsor to a team. Obviously we're not talking a cheering team or football team! By saying sponsorship, it costs a lot of money. So, this is not only big-boy-toys but a rich-kid-toys. Well I'm good with my mini car.
