"Call me Pilot Kitty" |
This trip is different to me.
First, I flew to Hong Kong and stayed one night there before off to Taipei. I took two luggage with me from Malaysia to Hong Kong, to cut some slack I checked-in one luggage immediately when I arrived Hong Kong station. There was a in-town check in counter for several airlines, and sad to tell Air Asia is not one of it. Technically the in-town check in service is free of charge, but in order to enter the check in area, I was charged 100HKD. The service is complimentary for passengers who are going to the airport using Airport Express service. In short, you pay for the ticket and the check in service is for free.
Anyway, the next day I took the Eva Air Hello Kitty Jet from Hong Kong to Taipei. Time flies, and it was time again to fly to the-busy-Hong-Kong-City again.

I posted a photo compilation of Eva Air Hello Kitty in my Instagram and Facebook, surprisingly some friends asked me about it, such as how was the flight, the return ticket prices and so on. I never thought that anyone will actually interested to know more about my experience with this
As what I expected, there is only one self check-in counter for Eva Air x Hello Kitty passengers. Believe me, the kiosk was crowded! People taking pictures in and out of this cute counter. I've waited quite a long time to take this photo. OMG these people are so annoying with bad photography skills! I don't know why a selfie in front of the kiosk (just a fucking selfie) could take up so long until I feel like want to break their neck.

These merchandises not for sale (not that I aware of) . These merchandises aren't in the in-flight shopping magazine. Pillows are for sale thou and I have the pink one!
The fleet models are expensive and I couldn't afford it with my emptied wallet |
Time to check in!
Check-in kiosks |
After the immigration check, these are what I saw on my way walking to the gate. Too cute and I can't even! If I have a baby, I'll force feed him/her in the breast feeding room even it's not time yet for breast feeding, lol.
I shouldn't spent all my Taiwan dollars. I can't afford anything from Sanrio shop. Took me forever to decide not to swipe card otherwise I won't be able to enjoy myself in Hong Kong Disneyland.
OMG! I wanted this Mahjong set so bad! Anyone can help me to buy? |
Waiting lounge before the gate opens. It excites me! |
In case you don't know how I look like |
Taipei - Hong Kong takes about one and half hour. I didn't make pre-booking for kids meal thus my meal is just a normal set without Hello Kitty tupperware and so on. The in-flight entertainment? It sucks to me. Old and outdated movies, but I shouldn't expect more from a flight that less than two hours, no? Pillow and blanket are not provided, I requested for it during both of my flights with Eva Air.
Tips to make your Eva Air x Hello Kitty Jet worth the price you paid : Request for the poker card. There's nothing to hide thou, I requested for poker cards and also the shopping bag which is exclusively for in-flight shopping only. And I got two for free, the flight attendant volunteered to give it to me when no pillow is available the moment I requested for it.
If you are a souvenir-stamps collector, get a Hello Kitty Jet ground crew to stamp your stamp book too! Talking about this, the crews are very helpful. I told them that I want to take the cabin without any passenger and they let me in first although I was just a economy class passenger! Besides that, I had 3 hand luggage but they let me in, I feel loved, lol
Taipei, till then! |
