こんにちわ!
After New Year Prayer in Meiji Jingu Shrine, we walked to the Omotesando Hills. In 2012, I went to Harajuku. There are not many to see in Harajuku, unless you're going for their famous crepes and Daiso Japan. I told my brother that Takeshita Street will be fully occupied for the day, thus we went to other side instead.
Finally, La Foret! Been hearing about this glorious shopping mall from many travellers, especially from the shopaholics. But before that, my brother and I had our breakfast in a coffee shop nearby.
There are plenty of shops offering lucky bags. This coffee shop has standardized their lucky bag, generally, you'll get coffee beans, mug and vouchers at a discounted price. That was why I didn't buy the lucky bag from Starbucks Japan, vouchers are only valid in Japan though.
Doutor Coffee, a retail company founded by a Japanese. Doutor was my favourite hangout spot back in 2012 when I was waiting my boyfriend outside a music store. As predicted, my boyfriend came out with newly bought cymbals and snare drum from the music store. Oh man, it was so torturing to bring all his instruments back to our hotel, not forgetting to mention that, during the summer.
I was quite surprise to see food stalls at the roadside in Japan. Never seen one until this year. These food stalls are set up along the street heading to La Foret. There was this white dusty thing fell on my brother's jacket, I told him it's ashes from the cooking, grilling, roasting..
..... not.
Made a fool of myself. It was snowing that day.We were so excited and started to videotape the snow falling down from the sky. The snow stopped after 20 minutes, but it was a great experience to me.
This cotton candies are so cute. Frankly speaking, it's eye catching compared to the plain plastic bag. As what I told my brother, this looks cute when it's in Japan, if it's in our country, it feels so #chinaproducts.
Chill out at Tokyu Plaza before heading to La Foret. Man, there are so many shopping-believers queuing up outside the La Foret. Look at the heads, I hope they're not entering Tokyu Plaza.
It was just 11 in the morning, people are already queuing up for this lucky draw. Why you guys so fast one?
My first Fukubukuro purchase in 2015. The 3000 yen bag all sold out! I've bought the 8000 yen lucky bag, it consists of a skirt, a outerwear and a knitted shirt. Designed with dogs, you got me!
Our energy burnt out so fast. I heard about Egg n Things and decided to give it a try!
...... not. Look at the queue.
La Foret, here I come.
The second purchase of the day and I'm already called the boyfriend to chip in. #wortheverypenny
Omotesando Hills. It was cloudy in the afternoon. And windy too.
This Snoopy Lucky bag is one of the few that available for the day. Lucky Bag for Disney products are all sold out within 2 hours! Frozen is so hot in Japan, Frozen lucky bag was available at 10,000 yen and it sold out immediately.
You see it right. Hello Kitty X Baby Milo. It's very annoying to see these people grabbed all the sizes. I heard that they are purchasers from the China Mainland. I've picked 3 jackets and my size all not available. Wasted my one hour lining up outside the shop.
Shibuya 109 was closed on the first day. As you can see, the guards are setting the cones outside the building. The line outside Machines is ridiculously long too. Frankly speaking, there are not many to get from Shibuya 109 as majority of them are Japanese brands, but if you're a believer of CECIL McBEE, Liz Lisa, Moussy or Samantha Vega, you shall get one from here.
Fukoubukuro, unlucky bag spotted in Akihabara. It's presumably a set of (infamous) comic books inside.
